Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad Organised Industrial Visit at Coca Cola Plant

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad organized industrial visit on 30th Oct 2017 at Moon Beverages Ltd, Coca Cola Plant, Greater Noida for MBA Batch 2017-19. I am privileged to start my industrial visit journey from the renowned World’s second Happiness Factory of Coca Cola company.

The visit started with an introduction session about the start of the company and its different brands. The session continued with a video exhibiting the whole journey of Coca Cola company.

The second session started with our entry via a door called The Vault. This session was based on the production and packing procedure of the product. We got to know about the procedures followed in Ready Syrup Room, Blending Room and Filing Room. CIP (Clean in Place) process is also a new thing that I learnt about. It was really very interesting to know about the production process so closely.

The third session was based upon the history of changing shapes of Coca Cola bottles and even all the bottles were displayed over there. One of the best thing we got to know about was the strategies used by the company when all their competitors were imitating their packaging style.

The next session was based on the Corporate Social Responsibility. Here, our guide explained us about the different CSR programmes like VEER, PARIVARTAN, SUPPORT MY SCHOOL. Limca Book of Records trophy won by Coca Cola in 2015 was also displayed there. We got to know about the recycle, reduce and replenish process used by the company to ensure minimum wastage of water.

The last session untangled all our doubts and queries and I would like to mention that our guide answered the questions poked by our side impeccably.

The visit ended up with our selfies and pictures in that beautiful gallery consisting of coke studio, polar beer and a nostalgic interior.

Our visit was a blend of great experiences and happy moments that added up to my knowledge. I am glad and privileged to have this experience. Much obliged to Coca Cola company and to my college.
